During production, my Media class decided to do a feedback on the rough cut of our music video. This is where we screen the product so far, and then we are given a sheet of paper to write feedbacks. We received a mixture of feedbacks and here were the results:

Reading our feedbacks from the class, this gave us an overall rating of good use of transition, performance/lip-syncing, camera work and pace & feel. The majority of the class enjoyed the visual of the music video such as the artist herself, who was shown in between the narrative scenes. As well as this, the class were entertained by the story-line of the narrative parts in the music video, and many of the shots that had props which were applied to the video like the smoke bomb and projection. Most of the people in our class would like to watch our music video again; to summarize their responses the majority of them found the clips enticing, interesting and had enjoyed the narrative scene. In terms of camera shots, we were pleased with the comments about the amount of shots we used throughout the sequence.

HOWEVER!

Everyone in the class were slightly confused with the concept of the chest and its smoke coming out. Others also noticed that there was something a bit off with the lip syncing; we will look over the clip and tweak the part in order to make the lip sync accurate as possible. But overall, again, the class responded to the music video well. In summary, the whole class suggested that we should work on the colour gradient more to make sure that it looks cinemtic and effective in order to attract viewers and audience. To improve this, my group and I decided to concentrate on the colour grading of the music video to achieve the  look that we are looking for.
